When you use our contact, workshop application, or residency application forms, we collect: name, email address, country of residence, message content, optional portfolio links, and any health or dietary information you voluntarily provide.
When you submit a Residency or Fellowship application, we collect the information you enter in the application form: your full professional name, email address, country of residence, your confirmation that you will be at least 21 years old on the first day of your session, your discipline, a link to your portfolio or recent body of work, your artist statement, your residency proposal, your reasons for applying, your preferred sessions, any description you choose to give of your use of AI or generative tools, whether you are requesting kiln access, and — only if you request kiln access — the technical details of your ceramics and firing experience and the work you propose to fire. You may also provide optional practical or accessibility information. We ask that you do not include sensitive medical details.
Where applications are stored. Application submissions are delivered by email to [email protected] and are also stored in the database of our own website, zgalleryarts.com, hosted on our web hosting account. They are not sent to any advertising network, sold, rented, or shared for marketing purposes. Access is restricted to Z Gallery Arts Inc. personnel who need it to assess applications. You may request a copy of your application, or its deletion, at any time (see section 8).
Kiln access. Information provided in the kiln section is used solely for the separate technical review of kiln access. Kiln access is assessed independently of your Residency application and is not automatic.
Technical information recorded with a submission. When any form on this website is submitted, our form software also records the date and time of the submission, the page it was sent from, the IP address of the device used, and the browser identification string. This is retained for security purposes — to identify spam and abusive submissions — and is deleted together with the submission it belongs to.
For confirmed registrations: full name, email, country of residence, emergency contact details, health and dietary information relevant to participation, and payment details (processed through our secure payment provider — Z Gallery Arts does not store card details).
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in every newsletter, or by writing to us directly.
We may collect anonymised analytics data about website usage (pages visited, general location region, browser type) for the purpose of improving our website. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
